Our Farm

Open Table Farm is in Cambu, Makueni County — right on the Mombasa Road, one of Kenya's busiest corridors. We raise kienyeji (indigenous) chickens on our land, fed on natural feed with room to roam. No shortcuts.

Why kienyeji

Kienyeji chicken takes longer to raise than commercial broiler. That is the point. The slower growth means firmer meat, richer flavour, and a bird that has actually lived like a chicken. Our customers taste the difference.

Traceable from hatch to hand

We work with a trusted local supplier for our day-old chicks and raise every bird ourselves. When you buy from us at the roadside kiosk or place an eatery supply order, you know exactly where your chicken came from.

What's next

We are building this business phase by phase. Poultry today, sheep farming ahead, and a 2-star rest-stop hotel for road travelers on the horizon. Every step keeps the same commitment: farm-visible, fresh, and fairly priced.
